Access the Deal ("we," "our," or "the Service") is operated by Arcanex LLC. This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, store, and protect your information when you use accessthedeal.com.

1. Information We Collect

Account information: When you create an account, we collect your email address, name (optional), and password. If you sign in with Google, we receive your name and email from Google — no contacts, calendar, or Drive data.

Buyer list data: You may upload buyer names, email addresses, and phone numbers to manage your verified buyer lists. This data is stored exclusively in your account.

Property media: Photos, videos, and documents you upload for property folders. We also generate thumbnail copies and watermarked copies of images for sharing purposes.

Usage data: We log access events (viewer email, timestamp, verification status) when someone views a shared link. IP addresses are collected for rate limiting and security purposes only.

Payment information: Payment processing is handled entirely by Stripe. We never see, store, or have access to your credit card number, bank account, or full payment details. Stripe's privacy policy governs payment data.

2. How We Use Your Information

• To provide and operate the Service (photo sharing, buyer verification, access control)
• To authenticate your identity and secure your account
• To generate watermarked copies of your photos for sharing
• To verify buyer access against your approved lists
• To log and display access events for your audit trail
• To process payments through Stripe
• To send transactional emails (verification, password reset)
• To enforce rate limits and prevent abuse

3. How We Store Your Data

All data is stored on Google Cloud Platform infrastructure via Firebase services:

• Firebase Authentication: Account credentials and sessions
• Cloud Firestore: Account settings, buyer lists, property details, access logs
• Cloud Storage (Firebase Storage): Photos, videos, documents, thumbnails, watermarked copies

All data is encrypted in transit (HTTPS/TLS) and at rest using Google Cloud's default encryption. Photos are served via cryptographically signed URLs that expire after 1 hour — no permanent download links are ever exposed.

4. Authentication

We support email/password and Google OAuth sign-in, both handled by Firebase Authentication. Passwords are never stored in plaintext — Firebase uses industry-standard hashing. Session tokens are stored in your browser via cookies and local storage for session persistence.

5. Data Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties, except:

• Stripe: For payment processing (email and plan information only)
• Google Cloud / Firebase: As our infrastructure provider for data storage and authentication
• Legal requirements: If required by law, court order, or governmental authority

We do not use third-party analytics, advertising trackers, or marketing cookies.

6. Your Content Ownership

You retain full ownership of all photos, videos, documents, and buyer data you upload. We do not claim any intellectual property rights over your content. We apply watermarks to copies of your images solely to provide the watermarking feature you configure — your originals are never modified.

7. Account Deletion

You can delete your account at any time from the Settings page. Deletion works as follows:

• Your account enters a 7-day soft deletion period
• During this window, you can sign back in to cancel the deletion and reinstate your account
• After 7 days, all your data is permanently and irreversibly deleted: Firestore documents, Storage files, Authentication record, and all subcollections

8. Data Export

You can export all your data at any time via Settings → Export Data. This produces a downloadable JSON file containing your account info, buyer lists, property details, access logs, and shared link metadata.

9. Cookies

We use essential cookies and browser local storage for Firebase Authentication session persistence only. We do not use advertising cookies, analytics cookies, or any third-party tracking cookies.

10. Children's Privacy

The Service is designed for business use by real estate professionals. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under the age of 18. If we learn that we have collected data from a minor, we will delete it promptly.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email or in-app notification. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance.
